Role Description
As Oman advances its national fintech framework with a focus on secure digital asset infrastructure and blockchain adoption, this role seeks a leader capable of engineering the country’s digital asset compliance and infrastructure roadmap. The Chief Officer will oversee the strategic unification of blockchain frameworks, compliance automation, and real-time data integrity systems within the wider financial modernization initiative.
Key Responsibilities

Establish and govern the digital asset compliance infrastructure, integrating AI-driven risk detection, automated due diligence, and smart contract validation.

Lead the development of blockchain interoperability frameworks, ensuring secure cross-platform communication and digital asset lifecycle management.

Collaborate with policy makers to align with Oman’s fintech regulatory transformation and regional digital finance integration.

Direct the creation of regulatory compliance APIs, enabling seamless oversight, reporting, and real-time data assurance for fintech entities.

Oversee the deployment of quantum-resilient cryptographic protocols and next-generation cloud infrastructure supporting decentralized financial systems.
Qualifications & Expertise

12+ years in fintech infrastructure, blockchain architecture, or digital asset regulation.

Expertise in DeFi governance models, blockchain network security, compliance automation, and distributed data protocols.

Strong understanding of Oman’s Capital Market Authority (CMA) frameworks and GCC digital transformation policies.

Demonstrated capacity to unify global compliance intelligence, engineering precision, and digital policy foresight.
