Chief Digital Asset & Blockchain Strategist – Bahrain
Location: Manama, Bahrain | Remote Flexibility: Hybrid (2–3 days onsite per month)
Salary Range: BHD 7,500 – BHD 13,500 per month + Performance Bonus 30% + Equity/Token Incentives
Role Overview:
This is a rare opportunity for a visionary leader to drive the strategic adoption, design, and governance of blockchain-based financial ecosystems and digital assets in Bahrain’s rapidly evolving fintech landscape. The Chief Digital Asset & Blockchain Strategist will oversee the creation of scalable, secure, and innovative financial solutions, focusing on tokenized assets, digital currencies, decentralized finance (DeFi) protocols, and advanced transaction intelligence systems. The position requires deep technical knowledge, regulatory foresight, and the ability to translate cutting-edge technology into high-value financial products.
Key Responsibilities:

Define and lead Bahrain-wide strategies for blockchain integration and digital asset management.

Architect decentralized finance platforms, tokenization frameworks, and smart contract protocols aligned with Central Bank of Bahrain regulations.

Oversee digital asset risk management, cybersecurity, and transaction transparency initiatives.

Collaborate with multi-stakeholder ecosystems including banks, fintech startups, technology partners, and regulators to drive interoperability and innovation.

Develop KPIs, benchmarking mechanisms, and performance evaluation systems for blockchain initiatives.

Provide thought leadership in emerging digital finance technologies, representing Bahrain at international fintech forums.
Required Expertise:

12–15+ years in digital finance, blockchain strategy, or fintech architecture.

Proven experience with tokenization, smart contracts, distributed ledger technology, and digital asset trading infrastructure.

Strong regulatory knowledge, including GCC financial compliance, anti-money laundering frameworks, and cross-border payment regulations.

Strategic thinking with demonstrable success in multi-country fintech initiatives.

Advanced technical and financial credentials (MBA, CFA, FRM, or equivalent blockchain certifications).
