Position Overview
The Chief Digital Asset & Blockchain Infrastructure Strategist will architect and direct the development of the UAE’s next-generation blockchain infrastructure, focused on tokenized assets, programmable money, and decentralized trust networks. This role integrates strategic foresight, regulatory harmonization, and system-level innovation across multi-asset ecosystems to establish a globally interoperable blockchain financial framework.
The strategist will bridge digital asset governance, cybersecurity design, and macro-financial architecture, setting a model for how digital value systems can be built, secured, and scaled across borders.
Core Responsibilities

Lead the end-to-end blockchain infrastructure blueprint for digital asset issuance, custody, and tokenized payments.

Oversee the integration of CBDC-compatible architecture for cross-border liquidity, remittance, and settlement innovation.

Design institutional-grade digital asset custody systems that meet global standards for transparency, auditability, and resilience.

Guide implementation of zero-knowledge and multi-signature cryptographic protocols to strengthen data and transaction security.

Develop governance models for decentralized networks, ensuring algorithmic accountability and regulatory compliance.

Collaborate with policymakers and international fintech consortia to align the UAE’s blockchain standards with OECD, FATF, and ISO frameworks.

Introduce cross-chain interoperability layers enabling seamless movement of tokenized assets and digital currencies.
Candidate Profile

Master’s or Doctorate in Blockchain Systems Engineering, Financial Cryptography, or Digital Economics.

10–15 years in blockchain infrastructure strategy, digital asset governance, or fintech architecture.

Strong technical knowledge of DLT consensus mechanisms, cryptographic frameworks, and digital asset tokenization.

Familiarity with UAE digital transformation initiatives and international blockchain policy standards.

Exceptional leadership in coordinating cross-border, multi-stakeholder innovation ecosystems.
