Role Summary
The Chief Blockchain Policy & Infrastructure Architect will play a pivotal role in defining the UAE’s next phase of digital asset infrastructure — establishing scalable, compliant, and institution-grade blockchain ecosystems that integrate with national fintech modernization goals. The ideal candidate will unify technological excellence with policy intelligence, ensuring interoperability between blockchain platforms, digital securities, and future central bank digital currency (CBDC) frameworks.
Primary Responsibilities

Design national-grade blockchain infrastructure enabling digital asset issuance, settlement, and custody.

Develop interoperability layers between public and permissioned ledgers for regulated digital finance.

Lead policy and architecture alignment with emerging international standards for digital securities and tokenized assets.

Implement advanced cryptographic security layers ensuring auditability, resilience, and cross-chain trust.

Build strategic alliances with regulatory bodies, fintech innovation labs, and cross-border DLT consortiums.

Define frameworks for blockchain governance, performance benchmarking, and smart contract lifecycle management.
Essential Expertise

10–15 years in blockchain infrastructure, digital asset technology, or fintech architecture.

Proven record designing institutional blockchain ecosystems or enterprise DLT frameworks.

Deep understanding of cryptographic standards, smart contract design, and tokenization protocols.

Strategic fluency in regulatory technology (RegTech) and compliance-oriented DLT innovation.
Preferred Qualifications

PhD or MSc in Distributed Systems, Cryptography, or Financial Engineering.

Experience advising or collaborating with financial regulators and blockchain policy councils.

Leadership in multi-jurisdictional blockchain interoperability projects.
