Position Overview
Bahrain’s fintech landscape is rapidly maturing into a digital asset gateway for the Middle East, and this role calls for a Chief Blockchain & Digital Asset Strategy Architect to lead the development of tokenized markets, digital securities, and regulatory-grade blockchain infrastructure. The successful candidate will set new benchmarks in the governance, adoption, and scaling of distributed ledger technologies.
Core Responsibilities

Formulate Bahrain’s next-generation blockchain strategy, integrating interoperability across financial institutions, exchanges, and government frameworks.

Lead the design and implementation of tokenization platforms for equities, bonds, commodities, and real estate.

Partner with regulators to establish pioneering digital asset governance frameworks aligning with FATF, IOSCO, and ISO blockchain standards.

Direct DeFi integration pilots within institutional finance, balancing innovation with risk controls.

Oversee enterprise-grade blockchain security architecture, including zero-knowledge proofs, MPC wallets, and decentralized identity frameworks.

Position Bahrain as a global hub for cross-border blockchain settlements and digital asset issuance.
Qualifications

15+ years in financial innovation, with at least 8 years in blockchain, DLT ecosystems, or digital asset markets.

Advanced academic credentials in Cryptography, Digital Finance, or Computer Science.

Hands-on expertise in smart contract ecosystems (Ethereum, Hyperledger, R3 Corda, Avalanche, or similar).

Strategic experience liaising with regulators, central banks, and supranational policy bodies.

Proven track record of scaling tokenization or blockchain platforms at an international level.
