Role Summary
The Chief Artificial Intelligence & Risk Intelligence Officer will lead Qatar’s strategic evolution in AI-driven financial systems, risk governance, and digital intelligence frameworks.
This role blends machine learning innovation, financial modeling, and data regulation leadership to create a holistic AI-finance convergence environment supporting real-time risk assessment, digital compliance automation, and predictive portfolio optimization.
The incumbent will establish a scalable, secure AI infrastructure that transforms fintech data operations into a high-performance, regulation-aligned digital intelligence ecosystem.
Primary Responsibilities

Architect the deployment of AI-driven risk assessment engines across payment systems, credit scoring, and anti-fraud infrastructure.

Build and govern machine learning pipelines for real-time financial behavior analytics and transaction anomaly detection.

Lead the creation of data trust frameworks ensuring fairness, auditability, and algorithmic transparency in AI governance.

Oversee enterprise-grade AI integration across digital banking, RegTech, and asset management layers.

Drive predictive analytics programs that enhance decision intelligence and regulatory agility.

Collaborate with data scientists, compliance leaders, and global technology bodies to set AI ethics and governance standards.
Candidate Profile

10–15 years of experience in AI strategy, financial data analytics, or fintech risk governance.

Strong proficiency in machine learning, predictive modeling, data orchestration, and RegTech automation.

Deep knowledge of GCC fintech ecosystems, data protection frameworks, and AI policy development.

Executive-level experience integrating AI within complex, regulated financial infrastructures.

Excellent communication, leadership, and regulatory engagement capabilities.
Preferred Qualifications

Master’s or PhD in Artificial Intelligence, Financial Engineering, or Data Science.

Certification in AI Governance, Cloud Infrastructure, or Risk Management (CAMS, CRISC, or equivalent).
