Role Purpose
This executive remote position oversees the strategic design and optimisation of Saudi-aligned high-performance digital payments grids. The role focuses on settlement intelligence, multi-rail transaction engineering, real-time clearing logic, and predictive risk orchestration within globally interconnected payment ecosystems.
Primary Duties

Design end-to-end digital payments grids incorporating distributed routing engines, intelligent clearing orchestration, and multi-layer settlement optimisation aligned with Saudi regulatory mandates.

Develop institutional-grade settlement intelligence using machine-learning models capable of forecasting liquidity stress, routing inefficiencies, and systemic transaction anomalies.

Build cross-border multi-rail interoperability frameworks linking instant-payment networks, regional switches, global clearing houses, and alternative digital payment layers.

Establish governance protocols covering operational resilience, dynamic risk calibration, regulatory auditability, and international compliance mapping.

Lead multinational engineering teams responsible for API orchestration, settlement-layer enhancement, and resilient payments infrastructure design.
Requirements

12+ years in digital payments engineering, global settlement systems, or multi-rail financial infrastructure.

Deep knowledge of GCC payments regulation, Saudi fintech ecosystems, and global clearing frameworks.

Expertise in predictive settlement logic, distributed systems, transactional intelligence, and instant-payment architectures.
