Position Overview:
With the Public Investment Fund (PIF) managing over $700 billion in assets and Saudi Arabia spearheading capital market transformation through Vision 2030, there is a rapidly growing imperative to digitally enable sovereign wealth operations with programmable capital, tokenized portfolios, and fully traceable real-time reporting infrastructures.
The Chief Architect of Tokenized Sovereign Wealth Infrastructure will lead the conceptual and technical design of a composable tokenization framework — enabling real-world assets such as infrastructure bonds, public REITs, sukuk instruments, and green transition projects to be digitally issued, traded, fractionalized, and governed through smart contracts and decentralized architecture.
Scope of Work:

Design multi-asset tokenization protocols, allowing sovereign assets (ports, highways, giga-projects) to be digitally represented and managed on-chain.

Build secure, permissioned blockchain platforms integrating with Saudi capital markets, Tadawul, and PIF’s investment arms.

Create compliance-embedded smart contracts that enforce legal rights, dividend flows, Shariah governance, and taxation.

Architect dynamic reporting tools using zero-knowledge proofs (ZKPs), enabling selective transparency to regulators and stakeholders.

Integrate with global custodians and digital asset platforms to ensure institutional-grade custody, multi-sig wallets, and disaster recovery.

Engineer ESG-oriented token standards that digitally encode environmental benchmarks and automate sustainability-linked rewards.

Lead partnerships with SAMA, CMA, and global asset tokenization consortia for framework alignment and policy innovation.
Candidate Profile:

10–15 years in sovereign wealth systems, institutional fintech, or tokenized asset engineering.

Strong understanding of GCC sovereign investment structures and capital market law.

Mastery of Solidity, digital asset custody architecture, and interoperable smart contract ecosystems.

PhD or Master’s in Cryptoeconomics, Financial Engineering, or Blockchain Infrastructure.
