Position Overview
The Sultanate of Oman is advancing toward a fully interoperable, open finance ecosystem that integrates data governance, regulatory intelligence, and digital identity frameworks. The Chief Architect of Open Finance Ecosystem Integration & RegTech Infrastructure will drive the architecture of connected financial systems, ensuring secure interoperability, compliance automation, and data trust at scale.
Key Responsibilities

Architect API-first open finance ecosystems linking banks, fintech innovators, and payment service providers.

Develop AI-driven RegTech infrastructures for automated compliance monitoring and real-time regulatory reporting.

Lead the creation of data governance frameworks ensuring financial data integrity, privacy, and sovereignty.

Design secure digital identity and access management systems aligned with GCC interoperability standards.

Guide strategic policy dialogues with regulators on open finance implementation and ecosystem scalability.
Essential Competencies
-
12+ years of experience in open banking, fintech architecture, or RegTech design.

Strong proficiency in API security, data governance, and regulatory technology automation.

Knowledge of GCC data privacy frameworks and cross-border digital finance interoperability standards.

Master’s degree in Financial Systems Engineering, Information Governance, or Regulatory Technology.
