Position Overview

This executive mandate oversees the conception and engineering of Qatar’s next-generation financial intelligence ecosystem. The Chief Architect will design the foundational digital infrastructure required for real-time financial insight generation, multi-sector data orchestration, predictive modeling pipelines, and enterprise-grade intelligence layers supporting national-scale fintech transformation.

Primary Responsibilities

Architecture & Intelligence Engineering

• Develop a unified multi-layer intelligence architecture integrating transactional data, behavioral insights, risk signals, and macro-economic indicators.

• Build advanced decisioning engines using ML, deep learning, and probabilistic modeling to support credit scoring, fraud detection, and capital optimization.

• Lead the deployment of cloud-native, high-throughput data grids capable of streaming, normalizing, and analyzing high-volume financial datasets in milliseconds.

Data Governance & Regulatory Alignment

• Establish data-governance and lineage frameworks aligning with Qatar’s financial supervisory authorities and international standards.

• Design risk-controlled environments ensuring compliance in automated decision-making, algorithmic fairness, and model interpretability.

Ecosystem Integration & Strategic Enablement

• Create interoperability layers facilitating secure data exchange across banks, fintech players, telecoms, and national digital infrastructure entities.

• Define long-horizon intelligence strategies supporting Qatar’s ambitions in digital financial inclusion, open finance, and AI-driven transformation.

Candidate Profile

• 12+ years in financial data engineering, AI for financial systems, or large-scale digital intelligence platform development.

• Proven ability to architect multi-domain, high-assurance financial technology ecosystems.

• Strong grounding in GCC regulatory environments and global data-management standards.

• Master-level capability in analytics, distributed computing, and cloud systems.
