Strategic Mandate

The Chief Architect of Digital Financial Infrastructure & Platform Resilience is responsible for defining, governing, and future-proofing the core technological foundations upon which modern fintech ecosystems operate. This role is designed for a senior architect capable of integrating cloud-native financial platforms, real-time processing, cybersecurity resilience, and regulatory alignment into a single, cohesive infrastructure strategy.

Key Responsibilities

• Architect end-to-end fintech infrastructure supporting payments, lending, data intelligence, and digital financial services at scale.

• Design highly resilient, fault-tolerant architectures ensuring high availability, disaster recovery, and business continuity.

• Oversee cloud migration strategies, microservices adoption, and platform modularization.

• Implement infrastructure governance frameworks covering uptime, latency, scalability, and cyber-risk controls.

• Ensure full compliance with Central Bank of Oman regulatory expectations, operational resilience standards, and data protection requirements.

• Integrate real-time monitoring, observability, and automated incident response mechanisms.

• Lead infrastructure roadmap planning aligned with long-term fintech growth and systemic stability.

• Define KPIs covering platform performance, resilience metrics, and operational efficiency.

Required Profile

• Advanced degree in Systems Engineering, Computer Science, or Financial Technology.

• Minimum 15 years of experience in financial systems architecture or large-scale digital platforms.

• Proven leadership in designing resilient, regulated fintech infrastructure.

• Strong command of cloud security, platform governance, and infrastructure automation.

• Exceptional architectural judgment and executive-level decision-making capability.

Compensation Structure

• Base Salary: OMR 6,800 – 9,800 per month

• Performance Incentives: Up to 30% linked to platform resilience and regulatory outcomes

• Long-Term Alignment: Strategic incentives tied to infrastructure maturity
