Position Overview
Saudi Arabia’s fintech evolution is defined by rapid transformation in payment systems, interoperability, and financial governance. The Chief Architect of Digital Finance & Payment Systems Innovation will design and implement national-scale digital finance frameworks, leveraging API-first architectures, blockchain interoperability, and AI-driven compliance.
Key Responsibilities

Lead the design and deployment of national payment modernization frameworks, integrating ISO 20022, real-time clearing, and programmable payment rails.

Architect open finance ecosystems enabling seamless integration of banks, fintech innovators, and digital service providers.

Implement AI-driven fraud detection and risk intelligence systems to ensure secure and compliant transactions.

Develop cross-border payment corridors in alignment with Saudi Vision 2030 and GCC integration initiatives.

Establish cloud-native, resilient payment infrastructures to support scalable financial services.
Qualifications

12+ years in fintech infrastructure, payment system architecture, or open finance innovation.

Expertise in real-time payments, blockchain-enabled clearing, and API governance frameworks.

Proven track record in delivering large-scale payment modernization initiatives.

Advanced degree in Financial Engineering, Systems Architecture, or Technology Strategy.
