Role Overview

The UAE is consolidating its position as a global fintech hub, leading in cross-border settlement, digital payments innovation, and CBDC integration. The Chief Architect of Cross-Border Digital Payments & CBDC Interoperability will build the region’s most sophisticated financial rails, interlinking GCC markets with international corridors across Asia, Europe, and Africa.

This role requires an ecosystem visionary with deep expertise in CBDCs, AI-powered liquidity systems, and blockchain settlement infrastructures, enabling the UAE to remain at the forefront of financial globalization.

Strategic Mandates

• Design and deploy cross-border digital payment frameworks with multi-currency interoperability.

• Collaborate with central banks to develop CBDC integration protocols.

• Lead implementation of AI-driven treasury systems optimizing liquidity management.

• Digitize trade finance ecosystems through blockchain-backed infrastructures.

• Forge global fintech alliances linking the UAE with Europe, Asia, and Africa.

Candidate Profile

• 15+ years in treasury, payments infrastructure, or central bank digital currency projects.

• Expertise in CBDC interoperability, AI liquidity optimization, and digital trade finance.

• Strong experience in international consortium leadership and cross-border regulatory compliance.

• Demonstrated success in building sovereign-scale fintech infrastructures.
