To lead this foundational initiative, the organization is seeking a Chief Architect – Next-Generation Core Banking & Ledger Modernization Platforms.
This role is responsible for designing the structural backbone of modern finance—where ledgers are no longer passive record-keeping systems, but active engines that power real-time financial operations across payments, lending, and digital assets.
Core Responsibilities
Core Banking Architecture
- Design modular, scalable core banking systems for digital finance.
- Build real-time ledger systems supporting high-frequency transactions.
- Enable configurable financial products within the core system.
- Ensure seamless integration with payment, lending, and analytics platforms.
Ledger Engineering & Financial Data Integrity
- Develop double-entry ledger frameworks for transaction accuracy.
- Ensure consistency, immutability, and traceability of financial records.
- Support multi-currency and multi-entity financial operations.
- Optimize ledger performance under high transaction loads.
System Modernization & Migration
- Lead migration from legacy systems to modern architectures.
- Implement event-driven and microservices-based designs.
- Ensure minimal disruption during system transitions.
- Maintain data integrity throughout migration processes.
Governance, Risk & Compliance
- Ensure compliance with financial regulations and reporting standards.
- Maintain audit-ready systems with full transparency.
- Implement risk controls within core banking operations.
- Align architecture with regulatory expectations.
Required Qualifications
- Master’s degree in Computer Science, Finance, or Systems Engineering.
- 12+ years of experience in banking systems or fintech architecture.
- Strong expertise in core banking and ledger systems.
- Experience leading large-scale system transformations.
- Proven executive leadership in technical environments.
