Role Overview

The Chief Architect for Digital Payment & Fintech Infrastructure will lead the end-to-end design and strategic implementation of next-generation financial platforms in Saudi Arabia, focusing on instant payment networks, tokenized settlement mechanisms, cross-border financial interoperability, and cloud-native financial systems. This role requires deep expertise in multi-rail payment engineering, API-first architecture, regulatory-compliant transaction orchestration, and AI-enhanced fraud and risk monitoring.

Key Responsibilities

• Architect high-throughput, low-latency payment ecosystems integrating retail, SME, corporate, and cross-border transactions.

• Design and implement digital wallets, API-first banking layers, programmable money, and tokenized settlement networks.

• Lead multi-disciplinary teams to integrate AI-powered fraud detection, predictive risk analytics, and automated compliance monitoring.

• Translate Saudi regulatory standards, including open banking, digital identity, and AML frameworks, into system-level operational controls.

• Develop long-term infrastructure roadmaps for resilience, scalability, and cross-GCC interoperability.

• Conduct ecosystem assessments, including user behaviour analysis, network capacity planning, and performance optimization.

Required Expertise

• 12+ years in fintech infrastructure, payment systems architecture, or digital banking platforms.

• Expert knowledge in ISO 20022, multi-rail payments, API-first design, and cloud-native financial systems.

• Proficiency in AI-driven fraud detection, cryptography, and secure transaction protocols.

• Deep understanding of GCC regulatory environments and compliance automation.
