Role Mandate

This role is structured for a senior fintech architect whose primary responsibility is the design, evolution, and long-term governance of digital financial platforms operating at national and cross-border scale. Working remotely while aligned with the UAE fintech environment, the Chief Architect serves as the authoritative voice on transaction infrastructure, platform resilience, and systems integrity.

The mandate is not operational management, but architectural stewardship—ensuring that all fintech systems are coherent, scalable, and strategically aligned with future growth.

Strategic Responsibilities

• Define and own end-to-end architecture for fintech platforms, from transaction origination through processing, settlement, and reporting

• Establish principles for high-availability systems, fault tolerance, and transaction consistency

• Design interoperable frameworks enabling integration across payment engines, digital wallets, and financial middleware

• Produce long-range architectural blueprints anticipating transaction growth and platform complexity

• Ensure architectural decisions balance performance, scalability, and long-term sustainability

• Act as senior authority on platform modernization and infrastructure evolution

• Transaction processing engines

• Digital payment rails and orchestration layers

Professional Profile

• 15+ years in fintech architecture, financial systems engineering, or large-scale platform design

• Deep expertise in transaction-heavy, mission-critical financial systems

• Strong strategic thinking with the ability to document and defend architectural decisions

• Experience operating at executive or advisory level

• Exceptional written communication and technical reasoning skills
