Role Overview
The Chief AI & Financial Intelligence Systems Officer will oversee the conceptualization and deployment of AI-driven intelligence frameworks within Oman’s fintech ecosystem. This role merges financial analytics, algorithmic governance, and predictive modeling to create a data-intelligent infrastructure capable of optimizing risk evaluation, liquidity management, and regulatory transparency.
Core Responsibilities

Architect AI-powered intelligence systems for predictive credit modeling, liquidity forecasting, and macroeconomic trend analysis.

Develop automated financial risk engines incorporating deep learning, reinforcement learning, and probabilistic reasoning.

Lead creation of compliance-intelligent infrastructures integrating NLP-based transaction monitoring and anomaly detection.

Build real-time data aggregation pipelines ensuring transparency across multi-institutional fintech networks.

Champion ethical AI governance and model explainability in fintech decision systems.
Required Expertise

10–15 years of experience in fintech analytics, AI strategy, or quantitative risk modeling.

Mastery of AI/ML frameworks (TensorFlow, PyTorch) and algorithmic decision systems in finance.

Proven record in digital transformation initiatives involving AI-enabled financial analytics.

In-depth understanding of GCC financial data governance and cross-border data protection mandates.
Preferred Education

MSc or PhD in Artificial Intelligence, Financial Engineering, or Computational Economics.

Certifications in Data Science, Risk Analytics, or AI Governance.
