Chief AI Architect – Autonomous Financial Systems & Intelligent Banking

Location: Manama, Bahrain

Vision Statement

This is a frontier-level AI leadership role focused on building autonomous financial systems—platforms that learn, adapt, and make financial decisions in real time with minimal human intervention.

You will lead the transition from traditional rule-based banking systems to self-optimizing, AI-driven financial ecosystems.

Strategic Objective

• Architect intelligent systems capable of automating lending, fraud detection, trading decisions, and customer interactions
• Integrate AI deeply into the core banking stack
• Build scalable, explainable, and regulator-ready AI frameworks

Key Responsibilities

AI Systems Architecture

• Design end-to-end AI pipelines for financial decision-making systems
• Develop real-time inference systems for transaction scoring and fraud detection
• Architect reinforcement learning models for dynamic financial optimization

Autonomous Decision Engines

• Build AI-driven credit underwriting systems with adaptive risk modeling
• Develop intelligent trading and portfolio optimization algorithms
• Implement automated financial advisory systems (robo-advisors)

Data Engineering & Model Infrastructure

• Establish large-scale data pipelines for structured and alternative data
• Deploy MLOps frameworks ensuring continuous model training, validation, and monitoring
• Optimize model performance for latency-sensitive financial environments

Ethical AI & Governance

• Implement explainable AI (XAI) frameworks for regulatory transparency
• Ensure fairness, bias mitigation, and ethical decision-making in AI systems
• Develop governance structures for AI accountability in financial operations

Candidate Profile

• 12–18 years in AI, machine learning, or advanced analytics within fintech or financial services
• Expertise in deep learning, reinforcement learning, and real-time AI systems
• Strong proficiency in Python, TensorFlow/PyTorch, and distributed computing frameworks
• Deep understanding of financial systems, risk models, and trading mechanisms
• Proven ability to lead large-scale AI transformation initiatives
