Position Summary

A major fintech transformation initiative in Riyadh is hiring a Blockchain Platform Developer to build intelligent blockchain-powered financial systems supporting digital banking operations, payment automation, identity verification, lending workflows, and enterprise financial transparency.

This role is ideal for developers who can combine deep blockchain expertise with strong backend engineering discipline and financial systems understanding. You will be responsible for creating secure and scalable solutions that improve transaction traceability, reduce settlement friction, strengthen compliance visibility, and modernize financial operations.

The role requires technical ownership, strong architecture thinking, and the ability to build systems where security, trust, and regulatory readiness are non-negotiable.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop blockchain-enabled backend platforms supporting lending operations, payment automation, and financial workflow transparency
• Build smart contracts for repayment logic, transaction validation, settlement controls, and automated financial agreements
• Design APIs for blockchain interaction across customer onboarding, KYC systems, and payment processing services
• Create distributed ledger frameworks for treasury operations, merchant settlements, and transaction reconciliation
• Support fraud prevention systems and suspicious transaction verification workflows
• Integrate external services including payment processors, identity verification platforms, and banking APIs
• Improve platform performance, observability, and operational resilience across blockchain-driven services
• Collaborate with DevOps teams on infrastructure automation, blockchain node deployment, and system monitoring
• Build compliance reporting tools and financial intelligence dashboards for operational visibility
• Maintain strong auditability and secure digital asset transaction management
• Participate in architecture planning, code reviews, and platform optimization initiatives

Required Candidate Profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Systems, or related field
• 4+ years of professional development experience with strong blockchain engineering exposure
• Strong expertise in Solidity, Web3 integrations, and distributed ledger platforms
• Experience with Ethereum, Hyperledger Fabric, smart contract frameworks, and blockchain API integrations
• Strong understanding of backend architecture using Python, JavaScript, or Java
• Experience with PostgreSQL, Redis, message queues, and cloud deployment environments
• Knowledge of secure application development and digital financial transaction protection
• Prior experience in fintech, banking technology, payments, or digital asset platforms is highly desirable
• Strong communication and collaboration skills across technical and non-technical teams
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving mindset
