Compensation: KWD 2,000 – KWD 2,700/month (with stock options)

Reports To: Chief Technology Officer

Role Purpose:

We are searching for a highly motivated Blockchain Integration Engineer with a passion for decentralized infrastructure and embedded fintech. This remote role involves integrating permissioned blockchain technologies into payment and settlement systems, facilitating scalability, speed, and cross-border compliance in alignment with Kuwait’s rising digital finance ambitions.

This opportunity provides deep exposure to tokenized assets, stablecoins, and next-gen identity protocols as part of a secure and ethical blockchain-fintech synergy.

Your Key Responsibilities:

• Design, build, and maintain secure blockchain integration layers (Hyperledger, Polygon, or Stellar) into existing fintech architecture.

• Support tokenization of real-world assets (RWAs), digital ID implementation, and DLT-led settlement systems.

• Build smart contracts in Solidity or Go, and run audits to ensure resilience and regulatory readiness.

• Collaborate with product and compliance leads to ensure blockchain modules meet CBK cybersecurity and sandbox criteria.

• Interface with cloud infrastructure teams for seamless deployment (AWS/GCP-based).

• Maintain documentation of API endpoints, encryption methodologies, and identity verification layers for developer partners.

Candidate Requirements:

• Bachelor’s in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or equivalent; advanced certifications in blockchain a plus.

• Minimum 4 years of experience in full-stack development with 2+ years specializing in blockchain technologies.

• Experience in building fintech platforms using React, Node.js, Solidity, or Rust.

• Strong understanding of cryptographic standards, data privacy protocols (e.g., zk-SNARKs), and Web3 principles.

• Prior work with ISO 20022 payment messaging is a bonus.

Core Skills:

• Agile, test-driven development.

• Problem-solving mindset and clear documentation habits.

• Passion for building systems that are secure, transparent, and financially inclusive.

• Fluent in English (Arabic is a valuable asset).
