An ambitious fintech initiative operating within Bahrain’s rapidly evolving financial landscape is seeking a highly accomplished Senior Remote Fintech Ecosystem Partnerships & Strategic Alliances Director to lead the creation of high-impact commercial partnerships and digital finance ecosystems.
This role offers a rare opportunity to influence the future of embedded finance, Banking-as-a-Service (BaaS), open banking adoption, digital payments expansion, and financial technology innovation throughout the GCC.
The successful candidate will serve as a strategic architect responsible for identifying partnership opportunities capable of accelerating revenue growth, increasing market penetration, and establishing sustainable competitive advantages.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop long-term ecosystem growth strategies.
- Establish strategic alliances across financial institutions and technology providers.
- Lead commercial negotiations and partnership frameworks.
- Identify opportunities within embedded finance and open banking ecosystems.
- Expand regional fintech collaboration initiatives.
- Design partnership performance measurement frameworks.
- Support commercialization of innovative financial products.
- Conduct market opportunity assessments.
- Lead executive stakeholder engagement initiatives.
- Collaborate closely with product and technology leadership teams.
Candidate Profile
- Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Finance, Business, Economics, Technology, or related discipline.
- 10+ years of experience in fintech, partnerships, banking, or strategic business development.
- Strong understanding of open banking and embedded finance.
- Exceptional negotiation and relationship management skills.
- Proven experience managing high-value partnerships.
