From CBDC interoperability layers to regulated asset exchanges, Abu Dhabi now demands technologists who can future-proof trust across digital finance architectures. This role lies at the junction of cryptography, policy, and macro-resilience.
🛡 Core Duties

Quantum-Resistant Cryptographic Deployment: Design and implement post-quantum cryptographic schemes (lattice-based, hash-based, multivariate) into fintech APIs, digital wallets, and CBDC edge clients.

Digital Signature Standards Migration: Lead UAE’s transition away from classical PKI systems toward quantum-safe signature algorithms in compliance with ETSI and NIST guidelines.

CBDC Interoperability Frameworks: Architect secure communication and interoperability between the UAE CBDC and digital currencies from GCC, BRICS, and BIS Innovation Hub member states.

RegTech & Supervisory APIs: Work with FSRA and ADGM Digital Lab to craft real-time regulatory compliance APIs embedded into digital onboarding, AML, and treasury modules.

Secure Financial Data Infrastructures: Spearhead deployment of secure multi-party computation (MPC) systems and homomorphic encryption layers for sensitive financial workflows, including private audits and interbank netting.
🧠 Qualifications

At least 10–12 years in cryptographic research, cybersecurity for financial systems, or fintech infrastructure at enterprise/regulatory level.

Deep understanding of NIST PQC Round 3 candidates and ISO/IEC 18033 series.

Demonstrable experience in secure system design, code auditing, and hybrid cryptographic scheme integration.

Excellent interfacing ability with both policymakers and deep technical teams.

Master’s or PhD in Computer Science, Cryptography, or Mathematical Security Engineering required.
