Role Overview

Kuwait’s fintech sector is rapidly shifting from an emerging ecosystem to a regulatory-driven and innovation-enabled landscape, requiring leadership that bridges compliance with creativity. This senior role is designed for a strategist who can reimagine fintech solutions across open banking, lending, and wealth-tech, while ensuring regulatory alignment and technological excellence.

The candidate will play a dual role: shaping solutions that can scale regionally while embedding Kuwait into the larger GCC fintech fabric. The strategist must understand how to design future-proof frameworks that anticipate shifts in consumer behavior, digital identity adoption, and AI-led personalization of financial services.

Core Responsibilities

• Develop scalable fintech products in open banking, digital lending, and retail payments that meet regulatory and consumer demands.

• Lead integration of digital identity frameworks, biometric security layers, and AI-driven personalization engines.

• Build RegTech-enabled governance solutions ensuring compliance across AML, KYC, and consumer protection standards.

• Collaborate with Kuwait’s Central Bank, digital accelerators, and regional fintech consortiums on cross-border adoption frameworks.

• Guide product innovation teams in creating mobile-first, user-centric financial experiences.

• Deliver thought leadership on consumer-centric fintech strategies at regional conferences and international forums.

Candidate Profile

• Minimum of 10 years in fintech product strategy, regtech, or digital banking innovation.

• Proven ability to scale fintech solutions within heavily regulated ecosystems.

• Expertise in data-driven personalization, digital lending, and cross-industry embedded finance.

• Strong familiarity with Kuwaiti and wider GCC regulatory requirements.

• Advanced degree in Business, Digital Systems, or Applied Finance, complemented by global fintech certifications.
