Role Overview

This remote position is designed for a senior professional capable of engineering highly advanced regulatory-technology infrastructure for Oman’s emerging digital-financial environment. The role emphasizes automated compliance, real-time regulatory intelligence, and the creation of robust governance engines that support financial institutions, digital service providers, and supervisory bodies across the entire fintech ecosystem. This includes full-spectrum capabilities across surveillance, reporting, risk scoring, and operational integrity.

Key Responsibilities

• Architect AI-driven compliance automation platforms that integrate real-time monitoring, dynamic rule evaluation, and automated escalation workflows for financial irregularities.

• Design behavioral-analysis models capable of identifying transaction risks, fraud patterns, compliance breaches, and anomalous digital activity across payments, wealth systems, and embedded-finance channels.

• Implement unified governance structures that encapsulate onboarding workflows, digital identity verification, customer protection protocols, and operational resilience frameworks.

• Build regulated-data pipelines integrating reporting standards, cross-platform data harmonization, and automated supervisory dashboard visualizations.

• Develop change-management mechanisms that translate regulatory updates into machine-readable rules and executable compliance logic.

• Ensure infrastructure readiness through resilience testing, stress modeling, incident mapping, and multi-layer risk-control engineering.

Required Expertise

• 10+ years in RegTech engineering, fintech compliance systems, or supervisory-technology design.

• Deep experience with AI-driven monitoring systems, cross-border regulatory frameworks, and digital-identity governance.

• Strong knowledge of Oman’s digital-finance transformation trajectory and wider GCC regulatory themes.

• Proven track record developing scalable, secure, and auditable compliance ecosystems.
