Role Overview

This role focuses on transforming Qatar’s digital financial risk and compliance landscape through a new generation of RegTech architectures that integrate automated intelligence, real-time compliance scoring, predictive anti-fraud systems, and multi-tier risk visibility. The Lead Architect will design frameworks that eliminate manual friction, enhance transparency, and ensure financial institutions achieve maximum operational integrity without compromising scalability or customer experience.

This position demands fluency in AI-led compliance automation, federated risk modeling, regulatory data orchestration, and the construction of digital governance platforms capable of adapting to regulatory changes in milliseconds. The ideal candidate possesses the rare ability to merge advanced computational analytics with large-scale financial domain expertise to create internationally benchmarked compliance innovation.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop Qatar-aligned RegTech strategies that harmonize cross-jurisdictional compliance, real-time data intelligence, and robust digital governance workflows.

• Architect AI-driven risk engines capable of detecting anomalies, identifying multi-stage fraud patterns, and continuously recalibrating risk exposure indicators.

• Design smart-reporting pipelines that dynamically generate regulatory submissions, supervisory dashboards, and incident-response intelligence.

• Implement identity validation systems using biometrics, digital ID frameworks, device fingerprinting, and intelligent verification scoring.

• Establish enterprise AML automation workflows integrating transaction monitoring, customer risk profiling, and sanctions screening.

• Create machine learning ecosystems for risk scoring, behavioral analytics, financial threat detection, and compliance forecasting.

• Define cross-layer security and encryption protocols consistent with Qatar’s financial stability objectives and global cybersecurity benchmarks.

Required Expertise

• 10–15 years in financial risk management, compliance engineering, or RegTech architecture.

• Expert proficiency in ML-based risk modeling, anomaly detection, and predictive intelligence systems.

• Strong knowledge of compliance frameworks, supervisory reporting, and multi-layer AML orchestration.

• Practical experience with cloud-native data infrastructure, event streaming, and large-scale analytics platforms.

• Ability to unify financial intelligence, cybersecurity, and compliance automation into a single coherent architecture.
