Role Overview

Oman is building its fintech identity as a trade-driven digital enabler, with strong emphasis on embedded finance and API-based ecosystems that support logistics, healthcare, and energy sectors. The Senior Director of Embedded Finance & API Ecosystems will spearhead initiatives that embed financial services directly into industry verticals, creating seamless access to capital, payments, and financial intelligence.

The role requires a strategist who can orchestrate cross-sector partnerships, design interoperable open finance APIs, and build scalable ecosystems aligned with Oman’s Vision 2040 digital transformation strategy.

Core Responsibilities

• Lead embedded finance integrations across healthcare, retail, logistics, and energy ecosystems.

• Design and scale API-driven open finance platforms for banking and fintech partnerships.

• Oversee deployment of AI-powered transaction monitoring and predictive payments models.

• Collaborate with regulators, banks, and telecoms to ensure secure API ecosystems.

• Position Oman as a regional hub for open banking adoption.

Candidate Profile

• 10+ years in digital payments, open banking, or embedded finance leadership roles.

• Technical expertise in API design, multi-rail payments, and fintech developer ecosystems.

• Experience deploying fintech solutions in regulated environments.

• Advanced qualifications in Information Systems, Applied Economics, or Financial Technology.
