Role Overview
The Senior Director of Cross-Border Payments & Tokenization Strategy will lead development of advanced, UAE-aligned digital payment and settlement frameworks with an emphasis on global interoperability, high-speed routing, and tokenized value transfer. This role requires deep command of digital settlement mechanics, multi-rail payment intelligence, cryptographic assurance models, and multi-jurisdiction regulatory harmonization. The role combines economic foresight, high-level systems strategy, and emerging digital asset innovation.
Key Responsibilities

Develop UAE-focused cross-border payment strategies, integrating multi-currency routing, digital settlement tokens, and real-time global clearing pathways.

Architect tokenization models for high-value settlement, liquidity synchronization, and digital asset governance across international corridors.

Build intelligent transaction risk engines leveraging AI-based anomaly detection, behavior scoring, and dynamic authorization frameworks.

Conduct global regulatory alignment mapping to ensure UAE payment innovation operates within international settlement and compliance norms.

Lead distributed teams executing complex cross-border integration programs involving payment networks, digital identity frameworks, and tokenized financial instruments.

Produce strategic insights and advanced forecasting for future UAE/global transaction system evolution.
Required Qualifications

10+ years in cross-border payment design, tokenization strategy, or real-time financial infrastructure architecture.

Mastery of ISO 20022, digital asset ecosystems, liquidity routing engines, and settlement intelligence.

Deep understanding of GCC governance standards and international payment regulatory models.
