Position Summary

The analyst will drive advanced payments intelligence across Bahrain’s dynamic digital commerce ecosystem. The role focuses on designing merchant-centric data models, optimizing multi-rail settlement flows, and enabling high-precision payment insights that strengthen operational efficiency and enhance consumer transaction experiences. The position requires mastery of multi-network payment logic, settlement protocols, data governance structures, and advanced analytics frameworks.

Key Responsibilities

• Build dynamic payment intelligence dashboards capturing merchant performance, transaction quality metrics, real-time settlement reliability, and cross-rail operational variances.

• Perform advanced reconciliation analytics across card networks, digital wallets, instant payment rails, and alternative payment channels.

• Engineer multi-layer merchant ecosystem models that evaluate transaction throughput, fraud exposure, cost-to-settle ratios, and network behavior patterns.

• Lead continuous optimization of digital payment stacks through anomaly detection, routing efficiency assessments, and settlement timing optimization.

• Collaborate with technical and operational teams to enhance digital acceptance infrastructure, merchant onboarding systems, and authentication workflows.

• Ensure adherence to Bahrain’s evolving regulatory guidelines, network rules, and data management protocols.

Qualifications

• 6–10+ years in digital payments analytics, merchant services, or settlement intelligence.

• Deep knowledge of payment gateway logic, card scheme settlement rules, and multi-rail payments orchestration.

• Experience building data intelligence systems, KPI frameworks, and real-time analytical tools.

Preferred Competencies

• Familiarity with machine learning models for fraud detection, risk pattern classification, and transaction anomaly scoring.

• Strong capability designing multi-dimensional merchant performance maps.
