Role Overview

This role is positioned at the intersection of product strategy, governance, and digital asset innovation, aimed at ensuring that Bahrain remains a regional hub for tokenized finance, digital-first wealth solutions, and global fintech alignment.

The Head of Product Strategy & Digital Asset Governance will be entrusted with shaping frameworks that not only drive scalable fintech adoption but also embed trust, compliance, and global interoperability.

Core Responsibilities

• Define and oversee digital asset governance frameworks integrating blockchain, tokenization, and cross-border asset mobility.

• Design product strategies for wealth-tech platforms, digital payments, and consumer-focused fintech ecosystems.

• Collaborate with the Central Bank of Bahrain and global regulators to harmonize cross-jurisdictional fintech frameworks.

• Drive the adoption of open banking ecosystems, API-first infrastructures, and digital identity integration.

• Build thought leadership narratives around Web3, decentralized finance, and asset tokenization from a governance perspective.

• Lead diverse product innovation teams across fintech domains with an emphasis on scalability, resilience, and compliance.

Candidate Profile

• At least 12–15 years of leadership in fintech, digital banking, or blockchain ecosystems.

• Proven expertise in digital asset strategy, product governance, and regulatory collaboration.

• Familiarity with Bahrain’s regulatory innovation framework and GCC fintech landscape.

• Advanced qualifications in Finance, Blockchain, or Digital Systems Engineering.

• Ability to balance visionary strategy with risk governance and compliance rigor.
