Role Definition
This role is designed for a senior fintech architect responsible for the structural correctness of financial systems. The mandate is not feature delivery or application-layer innovation, but the design, evolution, and protection of core financial truth—ledgers, balances, transaction state, and reconciliation logic.
The position assumes ownership of how financial data is recorded, validated, reconstructed, and trusted over long time horizons.
Architectural Scope
Ledger & Financial State Design

Design and govern double-entry and multi-ledger architectures

Define immutable event models for transaction state transitions

Establish balance derivation, posting logic, and historical reconstruction mechanisms

Ensure deterministic reconciliation between operational and reporting views
Transaction Integrity & Controls
-
Architect transaction lifecycles from initiation to final settlement

Define idempotency, ordering guarantees, and failure recovery patterns

Embed validation, balancing, and audit controls directly into system logic
Platform Resilience
-
Design fault-tolerant systems capable of graceful degradation

Define rollback, replay, and correction strategies for partial failures

Establish long-term data retention and regulatory reconstruction capabilities
