Position Summary

This role provides strategic leadership for the design and orchestration of Saudi Arabia–centric digital banking architectures that support next-generation open finance frameworks, intelligent transaction layers, and high-performance digital service delivery models. The strategist will architect multi-domain financial platforms that enable seamless API integration, real-time account aggregation, identity-driven banking workflows, and scalable data exchange models aligned with evolving regulatory modernization initiatives across the Kingdom.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop enterprise-grade digital banking architecture frameworks incorporating modular core banking layers, dynamic API gateways, cloud-native scalability, and real-time data orchestration.

• Lead design of open finance infrastructure supporting account aggregation, rationalized data exchange, embedded finance enablement, and cross-institution interoperability.

• Integrate advanced identity systems (including biometrics, behavioral authentication, and secure digital onboarding models) within unified user experience flows.

• Conduct deep-dive architecture assessments across digital channels, payment rails, and modular banking engines to ensure systemic resilience, high availability, and multi-region operability.

• Define technical governance standards for data lineage, cybersecurity, operational reliability, and ecosystem compliance.

• Partner with strategic stakeholders to align digital banking innovations with national financial transformation initiatives.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in digital banking architecture, financial systems engineering, or open finance ecosystem design.

• Proven capability designing high-scale transactional systems, API ecosystems, and modular banking platforms.

• Strong understanding of KSA banking transformation priorities, regulatory frameworks, and digital enablement mandates.

Preferred Competencies

• Experience with real-time streaming systems, event-driven architecture, and AI-supported digital banking optimization.

• Ability to deliver multi-stakeholder architectural governance documentation and multi-phase transformation roadmaps.
