Role Summary

This position leads the conceptualization and deployment of Saudi-aligned AI-driven financial intelligence platforms operating at scale across digital banking, paytech networks, credit risk systems, and real-time transaction monitoring. The Principal Architect will define the computational, analytical, and data-governance foundation required to operationalize advanced machine-learning engines, hyper-automated decision-intelligence layers, and financial risk-classification models within the region’s transformative digital-banking architecture.

Core Responsibilities

• Design enterprise-level AI inference engines enabling predictive scoring, real-time anomaly detection, liquidity stress-simulation, and systemic risk forecasting.

• Develop scalable data-fabric architectures integrating distributed data pipelines, federated learning, and high-assurance model governance frameworks.

• Formalize automated decision-intelligence workflows across onboarding, payments, lending, compliance, and digital banking channels.

• Deploy AI-native financial monitoring systems optimized for high-velocity transaction environments serving Saudi Arabia’s expanding fintech landscape.

• Architect model-neutral ML platforms supporting multi-cloud compute clusters, GPU-accelerated training pipelines, and low-latency inference execution.

• Lead cross-disciplinary collaboration across data science, cybersecurity, regulatory alignment, cloud engineering, and enterprise architecture.

• Establish bias-remediation and algorithmic fairness controls to maintain reliable, auditable, and transparent AI financial decision systems.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in data science, AI engineering, or financial systems architecture.

• Mastery of ML model deployment at scale, distributed compute environments, and financial risk analytics.

• Strong familiarity with Saudi Arabia’s fintech regulatory priorities, data controls, and digital transformation frameworks.

• Advanced degree in AI, Financial Engineering, Computer Science, or Applied Mathematics preferred.
