Role Overview

The successful candidate will craft next-generation digital payment ecosystems, integrating real-time payment rails, API-driven open banking solutions, and seamless embedded finance models. This role bridges technology, user experience, and policy innovation, ensuring that Qatar becomes a competitive regional hub for fintech-driven trade and consumer financial empowerment.

Core Responsibilities

• Architect digital-first payment ecosystems with embedded finance layers for retail, healthcare, travel, and e-commerce sectors.

• Lead the design of multi-rail payments infrastructure integrating QR codes, contactless systems, cross-border instant transfers, and API-based gateways.

• Drive adoption of open banking protocols by developing secure, scalable, and developer-centric platforms.

• Introduce AI-powered fraud detection models and real-time transaction monitoring across diverse payment channels.

• Collaborate with financial regulators and commercial banks in Qatar to harmonize open finance adoption frameworks.

Candidate Profile

• Demonstrated expertise in digital payments architecture, open banking standards, and API ecosystems.

• Strong technical grounding in embedded finance and consumer-facing fintech platforms.

• Proven ability to scale payment products across multi-industry use cases.

• Experience working in GCC fintech ecosystems, ideally with knowledge of Qatar Central Bank digital finance regulations.

• Advanced qualifications in Computer Science, Information Systems, or Financial Engineering.
