Position Summary

This role leads the development of advanced supervisory technology (SupTech) and RegTech automation frameworks for Oman’s rapidly evolving financial regulatory environment. The engineer will architect systems that automate compliance interpretation, risk intelligence ingestion, regulatory reporting, and governance controls across multi-entity institutions. The position requires precision engineering expertise, regulatory fluency, and the ability to convert complex compliance standards into dynamic, large-scale automated infrastructures.

Key Responsibilities

• Design enterprise-grade RegTech engines capable of end-to-end compliance automation, incorporating rule-based logic, dynamic risk scoring, and regulatory semantic mapping.

• Build supervisory analytics platforms that aggregate institutional data, simulate risk exposure, and support regulator-level oversight.

• Engineer digital reporting interfaces that streamline regulatory submissions, audit preparation, data validation, and time-sensitive compliance notifications.

• Implement secure identity verification workflows, sanctions screening automation, and AML/CFT monitoring modules aligned with Omani regulatory standards.

• Lead multi-phase RegTech transformation initiatives involving regulatory bodies, financial institutions, and data intelligence partners.

• Maintain rigorous governance documentation, test frameworks, and compliance logic versioning.

Qualifications

• 8+ years in RegTech engineering, compliance automation, financial regulation systems, or supervisory technology solutions.

• Strong understanding of regulatory frameworks, digital governance systems, and AML/CFT automation.

• Expertise in designing modular, scalable, audit-ready compliance engines and supervisory dashboards.

Preferred Competencies

• Experience with AI-assisted regulatory interpretation, advanced entity resolution, and predictive governance models.

• Ability to lead multi-stakeholder regulatory technology transformation programs.
