Role Overview

This role is dedicated to designing and governing Qatar-focused blockchain frameworks that support digital asset issuance, tokenization strategies, decentralized financial workflows, and high-assurance distributed ledger designs. The architect will serve as the strategic backbone for digital asset governance, ensuring compliance alignment, platform security, and scalable blockchain ecosystem development suitable for enterprise-grade deployment across the Qatari financial sector.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop end-to-end blockchain governance frameworks, addressing token lifecycle management, multi-node orchestration, and high-security consensus models.

• Define tokenization standards for real-world assets, ensuring interoperability with existing financial instruments and Qatar-regulated settlement systems.

• Create multi-tier smart contract governance structures, incorporating automated risk controls, identity layers, and auditability protocols.

• Deliver architectural leadership across decentralized workflows, permissioned ledgers, asset traceability systems, and orchestrated digital asset marketplaces.

• Assess cybersecurity implications, implementing cryptographic enhancements, secure key management, and multi-factor transaction validation.

• Lead digital asset compliance mapping with Qatar’s emerging regulatory guidelines for virtual assets and distributed architectures.

Qualifications

• 7–10+ years of blockchain solution design, distributed ledger architecture, or digital asset governance.

• Deep understanding of tokenization, smart contract security, permissioned blockchain infrastructures, and digital asset lifecycles.

• Strong proficiency in regulatory interpretation, risk frameworks, and secure computation methodologies.

Preferred Competencies

• Experience with zero-knowledge systems, multi-party computation, and enterprise-grade smart contract platforms.

• Background in scalable ledger interoperability design for financial institutions.

• Strong technical documentation and architecture blueprinting ability.
