Head of Embedded Banking Platforms & RegTech Automation & Enterprise Financial Cloud Architecture – UNITED ARAB EMIRATES

Position Purpose

The UAE’s fintech landscape demands scalable embedded-finance infrastructure capable of powering payments, credit, digital accounts, compliance automation, and enterprise finance rails across B2B and B2C digital ecosystems. This role directs the development of end-to-end financial-cloud platforms, unified API foundations, and automated governance engines.

Primary Duties

Embedded Finance Engineering

• Architect universal embedded-finance modules allowing external platforms to plug in payments, lending, virtual accounts, risk scoring, treasury tools, and digital onboarding.

• Develop multi-layered API ecosystems with version lifecycle management, federated authentication, continuous access control, and audit-centric API usage policies.

• Build commercial-grade integration toolkits enabling logistics, e-commerce, SaaS, and mobility platforms to deploy financial services within their native workflows.

Cloud Banking Architecture

• Engineer cloud-native financial backbones using microservices, containerized orchestration, multi-cloud redundancy, service mesh governance, and scalable financial databases.

• Deploy high-volume risk, fraud, and data-processing pipelines optimized for real-time analytics, anomaly detection, and credit-behavior modeling.

• Implement resilience frameworks including fallback mechanisms, event correlation intelligence, and observability instrumentation.

RegTech Automation

• Create automated KYC, AML, sanctions screening, document-intelligence, and compliance-scoring engines driven by machine learning and policy-aware logic.

• Build regulatory reporting pipelines supporting instant data lineage validation, audit-ready transparency, and rule-change adaptability across jurisdictions.

• Integrate compliance-by-design principles across API, data, identity, and transaction workflows.

Ideal Candidate

• 13+ years in embedded finance, cloud banking, compliance engineering, or enterprise fintech systems.

• Strong foundation in GCC regulatory frameworks, API security, digital onboarding flows, and multi-sector fintech integration.
