Role Overview

Saudi Arabia is rapidly evolving its fintech landscape through Vision 2030, aligning digital transformation with global investment and regulatory modernization. This senior leadership role calls for a global strategist in fintech risk intelligence and regulatory governance, tasked with ensuring resilient compliance infrastructures while enabling accelerated innovation across payments, lending, and asset digitization.

The successful candidate will design future-ready regulatory strategies, harmonizing risk frameworks across Saudi Arabia’s fintech economy and ensuring seamless integration with global standards.

Core Responsibilities

• Lead the development of AI-enabled RegTech systems for real-time monitoring, risk scoring, and compliance automation.

• Define governance models for CBDC adoption, digital asset regulation, and cross-border payment supervision.

• Establish frameworks for anti-money laundering, fraud detection, and cybersecurity resilience.

• Act as a principal advisor to SAMA, CMA, and sovereign investment entities on regulatory transformation.

• Publish global thought leadership on digital finance governance and regulatory technology.

• Build and manage remote-first governance teams spanning data science, legal-tech, and compliance innovation.

Candidate Profile

• Minimum of 12–15 years in fintech compliance, RegTech architecture, or risk management strategy.

• Recognized expertise in governance of blockchain, AI, and digital payment ecosystems.

• Familiarity with GCC financial regulations and global regulatory convergence models.

• Advanced degrees in Law, Finance, or Risk Engineering, with certifications such as CFA, FRM, or CAMS.

• Strong record of engaging regulators and policymakers at global forums.
