Role Overview

Kuwait is rapidly transitioning into a digitally enabled finance hub, emphasizing regulatory stability while promoting innovation in banking, payments, and wealth-tech. This role is designed for a Global Head of Risk Intelligence & Compliance Automation who can develop cutting-edge governance solutions that empower fintech enterprises while safeguarding systemic integrity.

The successful candidate will bring together AI-driven compliance models, predictive risk engines, and RegTech automation frameworks to align Kuwait’s fintech ecosystem with global standards.

Core Responsibilities

• Develop and deploy AI-enabled compliance automation systems for real-time monitoring and reporting.

• Define strategic governance models for open banking, CBDC integration, and tokenized asset oversight.

• Lead cross-border compliance harmonization strategies across GCC and international markets.

• Establish cybersecurity risk frameworks protecting consumer and institutional fintech ecosystems.

• Serve as a thought leader in global RegTech and compliance innovation.

• Build and scale remote-first compliance teams across AI, data governance, and fintech law.

Candidate Profile

• 12+ years in compliance innovation, fintech governance, or RegTech architecture.

• Strong background in AI-driven compliance, digital identity, and financial risk automation.

• Knowledge of Kuwaiti regulatory frameworks and GCC alignment protocols.

• Advanced academic and professional credentials in Law, Finance, or Risk Management.

• Recognized contributor to international fintech governance dialogues.
