Position Context

This role operates at the intersection of financial regulation, risk governance, and fintech operational design. The Fintech Compliance & Risk Strategist will be responsible for structuring internal frameworks that allow digital financial platforms to scale responsibly while maintaining regulatory discipline across GCC jurisdictions.

The position is fully remote, with a strategic focus on Kuwait-aligned financial ecosystems and broader regional regulatory coordination.

Strategic Responsibilities

• Design and maintain compliance operating models for fintech platforms spanning payments, digital banking, and financial services.

• Translate financial regulations into practical operational controls, internal policies, and system-level requirements.

• Define enterprise-level risk frameworks covering operational risk, financial risk, technology risk, and third-party exposure.

• Work closely with engineering and product teams to embed compliance logic into platform workflows.

• Develop reporting structures for regulatory engagement, audits, and internal risk reviews.

• Advise senior stakeholders on evolving regulatory trends and fintech risk implications.

• Strong background in financial compliance, risk management, or regulatory advisory within fintech or financial services.
