🏗 Role Purpose
Kuwait is on the verge of reimagining its national economic base by embedding fintech at the heart of Shari’ah-compliant SME funding and trade enablement. This visionary role aims to create the first tokenized Islamic SME ecosystem—a comprehensive digital environment that empowers entrepreneurs with access to working capital, halal liquidity, and global trade finance, without debt or riba.
🔍 Responsibilities

Islamic Tokenization Architecture: Engineer a modular system to tokenize SME invoices, equipment, inventory, and future revenues—compliant with Islamic commercial law and compatible with smart wa’d contracts.

Halal Alternative Credit System: Build platforms to offer Shari’ah-compliant liquidity using mudarabah, murabaha, or salam-based protocols, underpinned by AI-driven risk grading and decentralized decision governance.

Peer-to-Enterprise DeFi Rails: Deploy privacy-preserving, semi-decentralized lending pools where retail Muslim investors can safely allocate capital to vetted SMEs via halal staking, tradeable sukuk NFTs, or commodity-linked tokens.

Zakat-Enabled Funding Channels: Integrate automated Zakat engines that allocate excess liquidity or philanthropic capital to high-impact SMEs, under the guidance of Shari’ah councils and blockchain-based transparency layers.

Global Trade & Supply Chain Connectors: Build interoperable rails to link Kuwaiti SMEs with halal supply chain finance corridors from Indonesia, Egypt, Pakistan, and Africa using blockchain-led export tokenization and AI-led vendor screening.
🧠 Candidate Attributes

10+ years in fintech infrastructure design, Islamic commercial law application, and SME lending systems.

Proven experience in tokenization (real-world assets), smart contract development, and cross-border SME enablement.

Familiarity with murabaha, ijara, and salam financing structures and how they translate into algorithmic protocols.

Experience with Takaful, halal DeFi protocols, and real-time asset scoring engines highly desirable.

Multilingual capability (Arabic/English/Urdu preferred) for cross-market trade engagement.
