Position Overview

This executive role is responsible for shaping Bahrain’s strategic digital asset infrastructure—including tokenization frameworks, secure custody environments, multi-ledger interoperability models, and cross-border digital asset exchange mechanisms.

The Executive Lead will architect institution-grade, high-assurance digital asset systems that support programmable financial instruments, hybrid settlement networks, and advanced cryptographic security. The position demands deep understanding of distributed ledger platforms, cross-chain protocol engineering, cryptographic identity controls, and digital asset lifecycle governance.

Key Responsibilities

• Architect digital asset infrastructure supporting tokenized financial instruments, custody environments, key management, and regulatory lifecycle governance.

• Design multi-ledger interoperability systems enabling cross-chain settlement, token bridging, and secure asset transfer protocols.

• Develop smart contract governance models incorporating versioning controls, deterministic logic validation, and automated auditing.

• Build secure transaction verification systems using zero-knowledge proofs, threshold signatures, and cryptographically assured authentication.

• Establish risk intelligence frameworks for cyber-resilience, fraud detection, multi-party transaction validation, and asset provenance.

• Lead architectural roadmaps enabling programmable assets, cross-border tokenized settlement, and institutional digital asset engagement.

• Create compliance-friendly token infrastructure enabling transparent reporting, verifiable auditing, and scalable jurisdictional alignment.

Required Expertise

• 12+ years in blockchain engineering, digital asset architecture, or advanced fintech innovation.

• Mastery of distributed ledger platforms, interoperability protocols, and cryptographic engineering.

• Deep understanding of tokenization standards, digital custody, and asset governance.

• Experience integrating digital assets with traditional financial infrastructures and multi-jurisdiction settlement frameworks.

• Ability to design secure, scalable, internationally aligned digital asset ecosystems.
