Role Overview
The Executive Director of Fintech Platform Strategy & Innovation will operate at the apex of fintech strategic design, overseeing the evolution of complex digital financial platforms from concept through global deployment.
This role is inherently cross-disciplinary, blending platform economics, product architecture, financial regulation, and innovation governance. The successful candidate will define platform-level strategies that shape how digital financial services are built, scaled, and sustained over long horizons.
Core Responsibilities

Define multi-year platform strategies for scalable fintech ecosystems

Oversee the conceptual design of modular financial platforms supporting multiple product lines

Establish governance frameworks for platform evolution, technical debt management, and innovation velocity

Evaluate emerging fintech technologies and assess their strategic applicability

Lead cross-functional alignment between engineering, product, compliance, and operations

Develop frameworks for platform interoperability, extensibility, and ecosystem partnerships

Act as a senior advisor on fintech innovation, platform economics, and digital transformation

Produce executive-level documentation, white papers, and strategic roadmaps
Required Expertise

15+ years in fintech, digital banking, or financial technology leadership roles

Demonstrated experience shaping large-scale financial platforms or ecosystems

Strong understanding of global fintech markets, regulatory dynamics, and innovation cycles

Exceptional strategic thinking, stakeholder management, and executive communication skills

Ability to operate effectively in fully remote, globally distributed leadership environments
