Executive Director of Digital Finance Architecture – Saudi Arabia

Salary Range: SAR 65,000 – 95,000 per month + Annual Performance Bonus (20–35%) + Long-Term Incentive Plan (Equity/Profit-sharing)
Position Summary:
We are seeking an exceptional Executive Director of Digital Finance Architecture to spearhead the strategy, design, and execution of next-generation digital banking, blockchain, and AI-driven financial ecosystems. This fully remote Saudi Arabia-based position is aimed at a visionary fintech leader capable of merging enterprise architecture excellence with regulatory and operational mastery.
Key Responsibilities:

Lead the end-to-end architecture of large-scale digital banking and blockchain solutions, ensuring scalability, security, and operational efficiency.

Define the long-term technology roadmap, integrating AI-driven analytics, predictive financial intelligence, and decentralized finance components.

Establish and enforce technology governance, cybersecurity standards, and compliance frameworks aligned with SAMA regulations and international best practices.

Collaborate with executive leadership, product managers, compliance teams, and external stakeholders to ensure strategic alignment and business impact.

Lead, mentor, and manage remote cross-functional teams of engineers, architects, and data scientists, fostering innovation and technical excellence.

Conduct risk assessments, penetration testing, and performance evaluations of critical fintech systems.

Represent the organization in global fintech forums, contributing thought leadership and pioneering industry best practices.
Required Expertise & Qualifications:

Advanced degree (Master’s or PhD) in Computer Science, Fintech, Blockchain, Financial Engineering, or related discipline.

12–15+ years of senior experience in digital banking architecture, blockchain, and AI-based fintech solutions.

Expertise in cloud-native architecture (AWS, Azure, GCP), distributed ledger technologies (Hyperledger, Ethereum, Solana), and enterprise cybersecurity frameworks.

In-depth understanding of GCC financial regulations and international standards.

Track record of leading multi-million-dollar fintech initiatives and large-scale digital transformation projects.
