Overview:
A pioneering opportunity exists in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia for a visionary fintech architect to lead the design and implementation of a Shariah-compliant decentralized wealth infrastructure platform. This executive-level position is central to Saudi Arabia’s Vision 2030 ambitions, driving financial innovation at the intersection of Islamic finance, blockchain-based wealth tokenization, and next-generation digital asset custodianship. The selected leader will create an ultra-secure, highly modular framework enabling fractionalized investment in real estate, sukuk, ESG assets, and cross-border instruments—under full regulatory interoperability with SAMA and global standards.
Key Responsibilities:

Develop and deploy a fully tokenized wealth management ecosystem rooted in AAOIFI and IFSB Shariah governance models.

Architect cross-chain, compliance-aware smart contracts for regulated digital securities, supporting Zakat-friendly financial mechanisms.

Collaborate with regulatory stakeholders on establishing a multi-tier digital custody framework with biometric and post-quantum cryptography safeguards.

Integrate dynamic AI-based risk scoring and robo-advisory functions tailored to both UHNWIs and retail segments in Saudi Arabia.

Spearhead API frameworks enabling interoperability with national payment systems like Mada, SADAD, and Esal.

Manage token lifecycle operations, secondary market controls, and investor KYC/AML harmonized with G20 Financial Action Task Force (FATF) directives.

Design “HalalTech” investment channels incorporating ESG indexing and impact-linked DeFi products.
Ideal Candidate Profile:

PhD/Master’s in Financial Engineering, Shariah Finance, Cryptography, or Quantitative Finance.

10+ years in digital asset management or token engineering, with at least 3 years operating within GCC or Islamic finance frameworks.

Deep understanding of SAMA digital sandbox protocols, GCC-wide RegTech tools, and Takaful-linked financial services.

Experience integrating ISO 20022, Solidity/Zero-Knowledge Proofs, and digital on-chain asset wrapping.

Exceptional stakeholder management skills; capable of aligning with sovereign fund directives, local family offices, and foreign regulatory attachés.

Arabic language proficiency is highly advantageous.
