Role Overview:
We are seeking a Director of Blockchain & Digital Asset Governance to lead blockchain initiatives, digital asset strategy, and decentralized finance platforms in Qatar and across the GCC. This role requires technical mastery, regulatory insight, and strategic leadership to deliver secure, compliant, and innovative blockchain and DeFi solutions.
Key Responsibilities:

Develop and implement governance frameworks for blockchain and digital asset platforms.

Oversee tokenization strategies, DeFi protocol development, and smart contract deployment.

Ensure regulatory compliance with Qatar Financial Centre (QFC), CMA, and GCC digital asset guidelines.

Integrate blockchain solutions into fintech ecosystems to enhance security, scalability, and transparency.

Monitor emerging blockchain technologies, tokenomics, and market trends to identify strategic opportunities.

Collaborate with legal, engineering, product, and compliance teams for secure and compliant deployments.

Conduct risk assessments, audits, and continuous monitoring of digital asset operations.
Required Qualifications & Skills:

Master’s degree in Blockchain Technology, Finance, Computer Science, or related field.

8–12 years of experience in blockchain, digital assets, or decentralized finance.

Expertise in smart contracts, distributed ledger technologies, and token economics.

Strong understanding of financial compliance, cybersecurity, and risk management.

Proven experience leading blockchain or digital asset initiatives in regulated environments.

Exceptional strategic thinking, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
