Role Summary
The Chief Platform Strategist will architect Bahrain-oriented financial data fabrics, multi-layer interoperability networks, and interconnected API ecosystems enabling seamless financial data exchange across banks, fintechs, payment providers, and regulatory platforms. This role defines the foundational architecture for open finance expansion, secure data mobility, cross-platform orchestration, and multi-institution service delivery—establishing Bahrain as a regional hub for connected financial intelligence.
Key Responsibilities

Design interoperable API ecosystems supporting open finance, secure data-sharing, payments initiation, and financial-service integrations.

Architect financial data fabrics integrating distributed storage, high-assurance data pipelines, semantic mapping, and real-time access governance.

Develop unified API gateways enabling authentication, authorization, identity correlation, rate-governance, and multi-service orchestration.

Implement cross-institution integration frameworks connecting banks, fintech platforms, payment systems, and supervisory entities.

Formalize interoperability standards aligning with Bahrain’s open finance policies, global best practices, and multi-jurisdiction technical expectations.

Lead development of high-resilience, multi-cloud integration environments supporting continuous data mobility and zero-downtime interactions.

Guide strategic partnerships and cross-platform innovation initiatives across the Bahrain fintech community.
Requirements

12+ years in API engineering, financial integration systems, digital interoperability frameworks, or enterprise financial architecture.

Deep expertise in open finance standards, API governance, data fabric design, and service-mesh infrastructures.

Strong understanding of Bahrain’s regulatory direction, fintech ecosystem, and innovation priorities.

Advanced degree in Computer Engineering, Information Systems, Digital Finance, or related domains.
