Strategic Mandate:

Oman’s rapidly evolving digital economy is on the cusp of embedding payment intelligence into every layer of trade, tourism, logistics, and B2B procurement. We are seeking a Chief Strategist to lead the architectural fusion of contextual payments, invoice-level smart contracts, and merchant-driven data orchestration tools. This individual will engineer Oman’s flagship Embedded Fintech Infrastructure (EFI), designed to unify payments into citizen services, SME financing, and green commerce channels.

Core Objectives:

• Architect Oman’s national-level embedded finance framework across e-commerce, ERP, IoT, and tourism-tech ecosystems.

• Establish AI-driven invoice finance systems with blockchain-backed settlement ledgers and dual-layer token authentication.

• Build open banking connectors that integrate with Bayan, Thawani Pay, and Omani financial institutions’ API stacks.

• Define cross-sectoral fintech product specs that embed payment triggers into supply chain, logistics, and government procurement systems.

• Collaborate with the CBO and Public Authority for SME Development on digital SME credit scoring ecosystems.

• Orchestrate predictive liquidity systems using NLP-based invoice analysis for high-volume B2B sectors.

• Introduce sustainable payments modeling integrating green token rewards and carbon credit-linked remittances.

Required Profile:

• Master’s in Computer Science, Financial Technology, or Digital Product Strategy.

• 8–12 years experience in embedded finance or digital payment product innovation, preferably in MENA or APAC.

• Intimate understanding of CB of Oman regulatory guidance, GCC interoperability standards, and Smart City fintech integrations.

• Proficiency in designing low-code APIs, SDKs for merchant solutions, and Python/Go-based transaction automation frameworks.

• Deep interest in cross-border trade facilitation, digital microfinance, and Omani Vision 2040 priorities.

• Arabic knowledge advantageous; Oman experience highly preferred.
