About the Position
Bahrain is fast becoming the AI laboratory of the Gulf’s financial industry, offering a robust regulatory sandbox, cloud-first infrastructure, and pioneering digital wealth management frameworks. We are searching for a Chief AI Architect to lead the deployment of self-learning autonomous finance engines capable of managing digital wealth portfolios, regulatory compliance workflows, and hyper-personalized client journeys.
This is a technically elite role with strategic oversight over AI governance, LLM deployment in finance, and autonomous systems for portfolio optimization, KYC automation, and predictive behavioral finance. You will lead cross-border projects with data scientists, compliance officers, and wealth managers to reimagine how financial intelligence evolves in the GCC context.
Responsibilities

Design proprietary AI models for real-time asset allocation, liquidity management, and regulatory alignment under CBB standards.

Architect AI-driven robo-advisory systems integrating biometric security, sentiment analytics, and deep learning recommendation engines.

Oversee LLM deployment in RegTech tools for real-time policy interpretation and compliance assurance.

Build wealth intelligence engines that provide autonomous rebalancing, dynamic tax optimization, and ESG scoring for investors in Bahrain and abroad.

Define ethical AI use policies and AI risk governance in compliance with regional AI laws and the CBB’s FinHub protocols.
Candidate Profile

10+ years in AI/ML applied to financial services, with substantial experience in portfolio optimization and RegTech.

Advanced proficiency in Python, TensorFlow, PyTorch, and financial modeling libraries.

Strong understanding of GCC wealth management frameworks, Islamic investment principles, and cloud-native AI deployment.

Background in ethical AI and data privacy within regulated environments.
Academic & Professional Credentials

MSc or PhD in AI, Financial Engineering, or Computational Economics

CFA Charterholder or CMT (preferred for financial domain depth)
