Job Overview

We are seeking a strategic and results-driven Business Development Manager with deep fintech domain expertise to spearhead our growth initiatives. This role requires a professional who can navigate the complexities of the financial technology landscape, identify untapped market opportunities, and build high-value partnerships that accelerate revenue. You will act as the bridge between cutting-edge technology solutions and financial institutions, fintech startups, and enterprise clients. Your ability to understand complex product offerings, regulatory environments, and evolving customer needs will directly impact our market penetration and revenue growth.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute innovative business development strategies tailored specifically to fintech markets, including payments, digital lending, blockchain, and RegTech.

  • Identify, engage, and secure strategic partnerships with banks, payment processors, VC-backed startups, and other key ecosystem players.

  • Collaborate closely with product, marketing, and compliance teams to align business opportunities with regulatory requirements and product capabilities.

  • Lead competitive intelligence efforts to anticipate market shifts and identify white space opportunities.

  • Negotiate complex commercial agreements and contracts, ensuring mutually beneficial and sustainable partnerships.

  • Present compelling business cases and product demos to C-level executives and decision-makers in the fintech and financial services sectors.

  • Track and analyze KPIs to continually optimize the sales funnel and refine business strategies.

Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of progressive business development experience exclusively in fintech or adjacent financial services sectors, with a track record of closing multimillion-dollar deals.

  • Proven understanding of fintech product lifecycles, including digital payments, APIs, compliance technology, or blockchain-based solutions.

  • Strong network within fintech ecosystems, including venture capital firms, accelerators, and regulatory bodies.

  • Ability to translate complex technical products and compliance nuances into clear value propositions for diverse stakeholders.

  • Exceptional negotiation and communication skills tailored for senior executives and technical teams alike.

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Technology, or a related field; MBA or relevant fintech certifications preferred.

  • Comfortable working in fast-paced, ambiguous environments requiring agility and entrepreneurial mindset.
