Role Overview:
We are seeking a Blockchain & Digital Asset Strategy Director to lead the design, governance, and strategic implementation of blockchain and digital asset initiatives in Qatar and the broader GCC. This senior role requires expertise in decentralized finance (DeFi), tokenization, blockchain governance, and regulatory compliance to drive secure, innovative financial solutions. The successful candidate will play a central role in shaping the region’s digital asset ecosystem.
Key Responsibilities:

Develop governance frameworks for digital assets and blockchain-based financial solutions.

Drive implementation of tokenization strategies, DeFi protocols, and secure smart contract development.

Ensure regulatory compliance with Qatar Financial Centre (QFC) guidelines, CMA, and GCC digital asset regulations.

Lead strategic initiatives integrating blockchain into existing fintech platforms.

Assess emerging technologies, tokenomics, and market trends to identify opportunities.

Collaborate with product, legal, engineering, and compliance teams to ensure secure and compliant deployments.

Conduct risk assessments, auditing, and ongoing monitoring of blockchain transactions and protocols.
Required Qualifications & Skills:

Master’s degree in Blockchain Technology, Finance, Computer Science, or related field.

8–12 years of experience in blockchain, digital asset management, or decentralized finance.

Advanced knowledge of smart contracts, distributed ledger technologies, and token economics.

Strong understanding of regional financial compliance, cybersecurity, and risk management frameworks.

Demonstrated success in leading blockchain or digital asset projects in regulated environments.

Exceptional leadership, strategic vision, and problem-solving abilities.
